I actually have a lot of data on the Eggums. There are a few that immigrated to America for whomI have not been able to find any more information. I was able to find a record of Ingebrigt's passport in the DC archives. He was single and my grandmother's uncle. Family tradition says that he owned a ranch in Montana and that when he died none of the relatives had enough money to go out there to lay claim to it. Family tradition says that later they discovered oil on the ranch. I have no idea how much of that family tradition is true so I have been trying to find someone out there who could find out when he died and where and if any of the information about owning a ranch etc. was true.
