MONTANA DEATH INDEX 1907-1953:
ANDERSON, Gordon E.
Died: 24 Jan 1956 at 73 years of age (Est. born 1883)
County(s) of Death & Residence:**Custer County
Marital Status:**Widowed
File #: **39
MILLS, Patricia I.
Died:22 Oct 1995 at 51 years of age
County of Death:Missoula County
County of Residence:Lake County
Father:ANDERSON, Gordon
Mother:FLEMING, Rozella
Marital Status:Divorced
File #: 5999
NOTE:Items I have marked with an ** are most likely incorrect. The state of Montana changed the way it numerically coded counties of death and residence, marital status, and just about everything EXCEPT date of death.Consequently, when they changed their numerical system sometime in the mid-60s, it meant that their computer could not accurately read the data from 1954-1965!Therefore, I suggest that you obtain a Death Certificate directly from the State's Dept. of Vital Statistics (about $10) to obtain more information--and accurate information.
I don't know if the Gordon Anderson listed as the father of Patricia I. Mills is the correct Gordon Anderson, but perhaps you would know if Rozella Fleming was one of his wives.

I don't know if you already had the obit, but hoped that you would find some of the above information useful.
