Hello Everyone: I am looking for a friend of mine that has come to a brick wall. The name that we are looking for is Leonard L. Kuhl. He was born abt 1879-1889 in Wisconsin. However, he had a brother that was the Vet for Missoula during 1909 sometime. Leonard bought a Lottery Ticket/Raffle Ticket and won some land up the Blackfoot. Now I don't know what that specifically means (up the Blackfoot) if that is a river or a meadow of somesort, or maybe the Native American land that was being sold off at that point of time. Any information would really help. If someone could come up with a census that would be great too. Leonard and his wife both died around 1909-1910 of Spotted Fever right after they started to live on the land that they won. Supposedly they died at the Missoula hospital, which one at that time is hard to know. I know that the Northern Pacific Hospital is there, but was it the only one at that time or was there another one too? Thanks in advance, melodyroswell@icehouse.net Notify Administrator about this message?
