I searched the whole state of Montana in 1860, 1870, 1900, 1910. No Denny's born in N.Y. Did find him and wife, Zorrilda and daughter Lena in 1880 in Lowell, Kent Co, Michigan. He was only 24 so it doesn't seem possible for him to own a business in 1860 (age 4) and 1870 (age 14). Possibly could have been there in 1890 but there are no census' for that year. Do you have his father's name where I might find him in 1870 with Adolphus living with him? Let me know if I can be any other help to you.
