Thank you, L F, for the information. That info helps alot and is very interesting.

My father died 20 years ago and I was going through some of his papers. I found a manuscript he had written for the Big Beaver Historical Society and after reading the paper I started searching. He said he left PA with a friend, Floyd Willison, and drove to Scobey Montana. There he met his friends father, Walter Willison who had a "spread" there. In the 1920 Census Mr. Willison had two farms, one in Scobey and one in Whitetail. My father also went to Big Beaver and spent a few years in the Montana and Saskatchewan area.

What is confusing to me is my father mentions Walter Willison's farm in Montana and also in Saskatchewan. Maybe you can answer this for me: Could Mr. Willison's land in Montana extend over the border into Saskatchewan, Canada?

Thanks again.
