Frank Elmond Reed born Indiana ?1880. I am looking for the family of Frank E. Reed. The story goes that his parents emigrated from England thru Canada while his mother was pregnant for him. Our family impression is that they moved on to Minnesota then on to Montana. We are not sure if they moved to Montana after he left home. He married our grandmother in Louisiana in 1904. He came to Louisiana with a lumber company we believe was from Minnesota. He left Louisiana with the lumber company between 1912 and 1919. His wife refused to follow him and family stayed in Louisiana. My father, Allen, found him many years later in Oregon. Frank also told a story about a sister who was so wealthy that when he went to her home, either Washington or Oregon, that her servant to him to go to the backdoor. That made him mad so he left without seeing his sister. His son's names were Allen and George. His daughters's names were Hallie and Elsie. We believe he had a brother named Allen.
