I am seeking information on ELISHA B. MARTIN. I need his birth and death dates to send for a birth certificate in MO. He is either a half brother or full brother to my grandfather FRANCIS LANE MARTIN who was born 23 FEB 1889. Their father was ALEXANDER LANE MARTIN who died 6 APR 1936 in FLORENCE, RAVALLI COUNTY, MT and is buried in VICTOR, RAVALLI COUNTY, MT. Elisha filled in his father's death certificate but did not know ALEXANDER LANE MARTIN's parents name but did state he was born 26 DEC 1855 in DENT COUNTY, MO. Elisha could have been a son born to Alexander Lane Martin and his first wife (possibly Nancy Ann Elliot) or he could have been son of Alex and NANCY JANE (nee EAVES) MILLER MARTIN. Elisha married GRACE JENNY PETERS and had 9 children. One of his sons was ALBERT MARTIN who married a lady whose first name was BESSIE. They lived in Missoula, MT before his death. I do not know where ELISHA is buried in MT but would suspect it is either in FLORENCE,MT,VICTOR,MT or MISSOULA,MT. Elisha had a half sister named IDA MAY MILLER (daughter by NANCY JANE MARTIN's first marriage) who lived around VICTOR,MT and was married first to J.E. POINDEXTER and second marriage was to ARCHIE CHRISTY. She is buried in the VICTOR,MT cemetery. If anyone could do a look-up for this man I would be most appreciative. DO I HAVE ANY KIN STILL IN MT?
