My grandfather, WILFORD THOMAS HAND (b: July 7, 1887 in Lebanon, Indiana, d: Dec 30, 1950 in Coffeyville, Kansas), lived in Lincoln County immediately prior to WWI. He enlisted in the army in Montana and went to France where he was wounded.

The information I have is that he was homesteading along with his wife (her name is unknown) and that she died either during or after childbirth. The child did not live either. I am looking for any information on this family. Thank you.
