Better late than never! Was just surfing and found your query from 2004.
MONTANA DEATH INDEX, 1907-2002:

To find more information, go to the MT GenWeb Lake County website, where you will find volunteers who will do lookups in the book mentioned above, and may be able to find an obtituary for you which would probably mention where burial took place. You can also contact the Lake County Clerk & Recorder to obtain a copy of the Death Certificate which would give you the name of the funeral home, and the name of the cemetery where burial took place.
