Sappington was located in Gallatin County, and was a shipping location for the Northern Pacific Railway.

The city of Butte is the County Seat for Silver Bow County:

I was unable to find an Orville May or a Leslie Wehrle in either the 1920 or 1930 U.S. Federal Census for Montana; nor were these names in the Montana Death Indexes.
