A biography/family history of Harold Tilzey is included in "Montana, Its Story & Biography", Vol 2, pages 139-140

Parents: Samuel & Minnie M. (Pitt) Tilzey, born in England & Iowa, respectively.

Harold attended schools in Kansas & Nebraska & graduated from high school in Geneva, Nebraska. 1899, enlisted in Co F, 39th Regiment of the US Volunteers. 1902, located to Lewistown, MT, & joined the civil engineering dept of the Western Pacific Railway. In the fall of 1904, went to California for a year, then relocated to Lewistown.

On 8 June 1907, Harold married Miss Anna M. Toomey, a native of Nebraska. Children: Katherine, Harold C., Dorthea M., Anna Beatrice, Effa M.
