Barbara There are 8 listings in Bribir for Brozičević (sounds like brohzeechevich) perhaps based on the male given name Ambroz. IC ending means son of. The correct, original spelling for KRALICH is Kraljić (sounds like krahylich, the lj has a sound like the LL in the word million) of which there are 3 phone listings found in Bribir, root of this surname is the word kralj meaning king. HOWEVER this is a somewhat common Croatian surname with over 700 in the phone book. It does not appear as if many KRALJIC came to the US listing Bribir as their former residence some who did: Andre age 43 arr 1910 destination Great Falls MT Bartol age 26 arr 1901 destination Anaconda, MT Ivan age 55 arr 1907 destination Anaconda MT Ivan age 19 arr 1907 destination Great Falls MT to bro Josip Josef age 34 arr 1905 dest. ? Josip age arr 1901 dest. Great Falls FYI Yugoslavia did not exist unitl after WW I, 1918. The LDS Church Family History Library has exstensive microfilms for the parish at Bribir dating back to the 1600s to 1900. Can we assume that KRALJIC was Anna's maiden name? I don't find any record of her in the US. Robert Jerin Croatian Heritage Museum Cleveland Ohio Notify Administrator about this message?
