Judy, thank you for this information. I had seen other reports on this family but I was not sure if it was Andrew's (Anders) Ellstrom.
He comes from the same area (Grasmark, Varmland) as Erik Eriksson Frykstrom and Mathilda K. Persson (Sunne, Varmland). Erik came earlier in the 1860's without his family and Mathilda came later, about 1868 with the children, Maria, Johanna and Edvard to Cokato, MN.
I wonder if they were related since they came from the same area at the same time, 1868. I remember my mom saying that her grandfather asked others to come to the USA, one fellow (not this one) in particular to marry his daughter.
Thanks again your help. It's been slow, but bit by bit, I am working on getting the Abrahamson Family (siblings from Motala, Sweden,) together. The women are the hardest to find since they take their husband's last name and I still have three of those to locate and absolutely no clues.
