Nothing found on Charles Holman. "Barton Rabun" died 7 Feb 1923, probably in Casper, WY, indicated in obit of June Sams.

RED LODGE - Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Holman, 98, were conducted Friday in the Joliet Christian Church. The Rev. John Moore officiated and burial was in the Rockvale Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Eugene Stender, Andy Nerlin, Omer White, Ralph Jones, Wayne Schoop and Norman Hogan.
She leaves her daughter, Mrs. Steve Sams of Joliet; a son in Greensboro, N.C.; two sisters; two brothers; five grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were by the Olcott Funeral Home of Red Lodge.

RED LODGE - Stephen Sams, 74, Joliet postmaster and retired farmer, died early Tuesday in the Carbon County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Nov. 16, 1891 at Tyre, Mich. He came to Montana in 1915 and ranched near Lavina, moving to Joliet in 1924. He farmed on Poverty Flats until 1953, when he moved to Joliet where he has been postmaster since.
He married Anna Johnson in 1920, who died in 1925. In 1927 he married Mrs. June Rabun in Casper, Wyo.
He was pastmaster of Carbon Lodge 65, member of the Eastern Star, past president of the Joliet firemen, Fromberg American Legion, National Association of Postmasters, a veteran of World War I, and National League of Postmasters.
Survivors include the widow of Joliet; four daughters, Mrs. Iris Riotti of Tenafly, N.J., Mrs. Lorane Reaves of Coleman Falls, Va., Mrs. Myrtle Skorupa of Bridger, Mrs. Ruth Kinzel of Grosse Ile, Mich.; five sisters; two brothers; and 13 grandchildren.
Olcott Funeral Home, Red Lodge, is in charge of arrangements.

FROMBERG - June Sams was employed by the Veterans Administration in Casper and later farmed with her husband, Stephen on Poverty Flat in Carbon County until 1953 when they moved into Joliet. She later moved to Fromberg.
She was a member and past matron of the Aloha Chapter No. 41 Order of the Eastern Star, a member of the Sunshine Club and Garden Club in Joliet, the Fromberg Women's Club and Senior Citizens.
Mrs. Sams, 95, died Wednesday morning in her home in Fromberg of natural causes.
She was born in Joplin, Mo., a daughter of James and Minnie Holman. She was raised in Indiana and Missouri, and graduated from California State of Missouri High School in 1911. She married Barton Rabun, May 23, 1913, in Joplin. He died Feb. 7, 1923. She attended Business College in Casper, Wyo., and on Nov. 16, 1927, married Stephen Sams in Casper. He died May 10, 1966.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. A.J. (Iris) Usowski of Harwich, Mass., Mrs. E.L. (Loraine) Reaves of Coleman Falls, Va., Mrs. W.J. (Myrtle) Skorupa of Bridger, and Mrs. C.F. (Ruth) Finney of Bradenton, Fla.; thirteen grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in the Fromberg United Methodist Church with burial in Rockvale Cemetery. Olcott Funeral Chapel of Red Lodge is in charge.
