Bridger Bank...Inside job?

My name is Steve Trumbo, the son of Charles F Trumbo, who graduated from Bridger high school in the 30's. I am doing research on my family and I am interested in a story which made headlines back in the early 1900's. It is the story of my great uncle John F Trumbo. To my understanding he was a Banker at the Bridger Bank and he was involved in extortion and sentenced to prison. He later became seriously ill and was released from his internment. When my father lived in Bridger in the 30's, he was met with a negative attitude toward the Trumbo name , so understandably, families who lost money in the bank did not forget it. Any information you could send to me on this story and or about him would be very appreciative. I also have a few pictures of him & one of the inside of the bank if you are interested.
