there are 5 james madison miller's in our family lineup. my great grandmother was leisa hahn miller. she married miller cousins--first was james madison then she married daniel cotter miller. she had seven children--3 with the first and 4 with the second.
danye, ivy and fletcher with the first. james madison, william jesse, leisa mae and leona with the second. they all lived in woodville til their deaths with the exception of james madison--who was my grandfather--who died in new orleans. the james madison you are researching is possibly the first james madison. do you know if his wife was leisa? it is entirely possible that there is a whole other line of millers but the name coincidence would be rather uncanny. thanks for answering my post. can you tell me about your lineage that you have uncovered?
