Hezekiah WALKER was born in Edgefield Co., SC, and died in Wayne Co., MS, in 1849. A DNA project to identify these Walkers is underway. We need a male descendant of Hezekiah Walker in order to define his lineage. No charge to evaluate a sample of an oral swab sample placed just inside the mouth. Other Walker lines have been ID'd. Some of these Walkers even connect to Pres. Thomas Jefferson. Another WALKER: Parham Pleasant WALKER married my cousin, Mary Campbell "Cammie" Smith and lived east of Laurel, Jones Co., MS. Parham was a dentist. His parents were Francis Marion and Senea (Bridges) WALKER. Parham P. Walker was born in Florence, MS, and died in Brandon, Hinds Co., MS. Are there any descendants of HEZEKIAH WALKER still around Wayne Co., or do you know where I can contact one of them? Does anyone know anything about Parham WALKER or his father, Francis Marion WALKER? Thank you for any information you can give me. Mac Alexander (b. Montrose, Jasper Co., MS) <maxtrax@pdq.net> I live in Cypress, TX. PS: My 3Ggreatgrandmother was Sarah Walker, d/o Samuel and Martha Jefferson (Bell) WALKER. She married Alford McCarty and he established a church at Mt. Pisgah Community east of Montrose/Louin, Jasper Co., MS. Alford died 1850 and Sarah died 1877, Jasper Co., MS. Is anyone familiar with Sarah and Alford? Any info will be appreciated. Thanks. Notify Administrator about this message?
