Doris Raines Hulsey, 67, died June 22, 2009, at yhe Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County in New Albany. She was born Nov. 3, 1941, in New Albany to Doyle Mayes Raines and Loyce Irene Gaines Raines. She was a devoted homemaker and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing her civic duty.
Services were at the United Funeral Service Chapel with burial at Vista Memorial Park in New Albany.
Survivors included two daughters, Lisa Whitehead (Don) of Oxford and Christy Holcombe (Jeffrey) of Huntsville, Ala.; one brother, Jerry Doyle Raines of Ecru; two grandchildren, Laura Elizabeth Whitehead and Anna Kathryn Whitehead, both of Oxford.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Larry Hulsey.
