Billy Coleman Garrison, 67, died June 8, 2009, at his residence. He was born Oct. 14, 1941, in Union County to John Quitman Garrison and Julia Clara Black Garrison. He was a retired farmer and farm equipment mechanic. He was a member of the Macedonia Hunting Club and the Macedonia Baptist Church.
Services were at Macedonia Baptist Church with United Funeral Service in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included his mother, Julia Clara Garrison of Myrtle; one son, Tim “Bacroad” Garrison (Cathy) of Potts Camp; one brother, Johnny Garrison (Doris) of Myrtle; two grandchildren, Kimberly “Bobo” Ford and Kansas Downs; four nieces, five great-nieces and three great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Quitman Garrison, and a son. Bryan Charles Garrison.
