Inez Kimmons, 76, died May 18, 2009, at the Baptist Memorial-Union County Hospital. She was a member of Union Grove M.B. Church and a domestic worker.
Services were at Union Grove M.B. Church with burial in the church cemetery. Beasley Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included her sisters, Mabel Kimmons of New Albany, Eloise Kimmons Richards and Maxine Kimmons Crane of Aurora, Ill.; brothers, Harvester Kimmons (Geneva) of Racine, Wis., T.Y. Kimmons of New Albany, Claude Kimmons of Montgomery, Ala., and Harry Lee Kimmons; a sister-in-law, Mary Kimmons of New Albany; god-child, Sharon Jackson Pegues of New Albany; and a special friend, Hazel Leaper of New Albany.
