Lynda Swales, 64, assistant director for House of Grace, died Jan. 12, 2009 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven, Miss.
Services were Jan. 16 at Twins Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven with burial in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Swales was born June 30, 1944 in Sunflower County, Miss. and was a Christian.
She is survived by her husband of 35 yeas, Jack Swales of Tunica; two sons, Jackie Swales of Tunica and James Swales of Covington, Tenn.; a daughter, Julie Swales of Southaven; three sisters, Katherine Flowers of Cleveland, Miss., Lorine Cady of Southaven and Ellen Criswell of Tunica; five grandchildren, Thea, Kayla, Allie, Drew and Gage and one great grandchild, Paiton Marie.
She was preceded in death by her father, Les Holder; mother, Allie Woods; three brothers, Pete Holder, Eugene Holder and Boyd Holder and two sisters, Sybil Sibley and Faye Hardwick.
