Services for Floyd Ollis “F.O.” James Jr., 66, of Sledge and Tunica were held April 20, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. James died April 9, 2008 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn. after a lengthy illness. He owned James Gas Company in Sledge, which was founded by his father. He was a graduate of the University of Mississippi, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
He is survived by a daughter, Tempe Walker James of Germantown, Tenn.; Floyd O. James III of Tunica; a sister, Peggy J. Jones of Memphis, Tenn. and two grandsons, Jesse and Cooper Lawrence.
