DENNIS – Lenette P. McDonald, 77, died Nov. 2, 2009, at the Red Bay Hospital. She was born Aug. 13, 1932, in Belmont to Den and Gertrude Graves Payne. She was a seamstress at Blue Bell and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
Services were Nov. 4 at New Bethel Baptist Church in Belmont with burial in New Bethel Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors included four children, Janice Skinner, Leesha Shotts (Ken), all of Red Bay, Ala., Bill McDonald Jr. (Donna) of Tishomingo, and Shane McDonald (Andrea) Belmont; three sisters, Genette Barrett and Gladys Sparks, both of Belmont, and Eloise Parker of Vina, Ala.; two brothers, Bob Payne and Billy Joe Payne, both of Belmont; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Coy “Bill” McDonald Sr.; her parents; three sister; and a son-in-law, Fran Skinner.
