IUKA – Ray Curtis, 74, died Sept. 22, 2009, at his residence. He was a member of the Iuka Baptist Church. He was retired from the Iuka Post Office, where he was the Postmaster. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Services were at the Iuka Baptist Church. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka was in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Annette Allen Curtis of Iuka; three daughters, Lori Wahlstrom (James) of Iuka, Becky Bradley (Glenn) of Hopkinsville, Ky., and Melinda Malone (Mike) of Cherokee, Ala.; and five grandchildren, Lindsey Wahlstrom, Clint, Clay and Emily Malone, and Phillip Bradley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dock and Ellen Curtis; a son, James Ray “Jimmy” Curtis; and a brother, Roy Curtis.
