Belmont – Eula Mae Stidham, 82, died Aug. 22, 2009, at her residence. She was born Sept. 28, 1927, in Dennis, Miss., to Hafford and Dora Hill Pardue. She was a homemaker and was a member of Liberty Church of Christ.
Services were at Liberty Church of Christ with burial in Belmont Memory Gardens. Deaton Funeral Home of Belmont was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors included two sons, Larry W. Martin of Burnsville and David L. Martin of Starkville; three grandchildren, Michael Martin of Belmont, and Clint Martin and Courtney Brien (Andy) all of Jackson, Miss.; two great-grandchildren, Alex Martin of Belmont and Ella Kate Brien of Jackson; five sisters, Maudie Adams of Florence, Ala., Mamie McNutt of Belmont, Altie Calley of Dennis, and Parthine Rosser and Maurine Hall, both of Germantown, Tenn.; one brother, Dupree Pardue of Dennis; and her caregivers, Ruth Glasco and Heart to Heart Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Howard Stidham and J.R. Martin; and four brothers, Chess Pardue, P.T. Pardue, Sherman Pardue and Walter Pardue.
