Belmont - Barbara A. Witt, 58, died June 20, 2009, at the Iuka Hospital. She was born Oct. 17, 1950, in Amory to the late Bernard and Ann Majors Butler. She was an employee of Sunshine Homes in Red Bay, Ala., and was a member of Golden Central Baptist Church.
Services were June 22 at Golden Central Baptist Church with burial in the Ridge Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home of Belmont was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included her husband, Larry Witt of Belmont; two daughters, Cindy Howie (Brad) of Iuka and Lori Vaughters (Mark) of Granger, Ind.; one son, Jason Witt (Katie) of Southaven; five grandchildren, Colten Howie, Calli Howie, Matthew Vaughters, Luke Vaughters and John Vaughters; three sisters, Wanda Mills of Red Bay, Ala., Nancy Riley of Fulton and Debbie Thompson of Pontotoc; and one brother, Robbie Butler of Fulton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Ralph Butler.
