BELMONT – Francis Martin, 80, died June 3, 2009, at the Tishomingo Living Center in Iuka. She was born Oct. 28, 1928, in Tishomingo County to Tommy D. and Mattie Mae Powell McClung. She was a factory worker and a member of Liberty Church of Christ.
Services were at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Belmont Memory Garden. Deaton Funeral Home of Belmont was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors included one son, Larry “Buck” Martin of Belmont; one daughter, Linda Chism (Mike) of Belmont; six grandchildren, Christie Crane, Jodie Martin, Connie Grubbs (Tony), Brent Chism, Cody Chism and Chris White (Krystal); and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo “Dobbin” Martin; her parents; a daughter, Charlotte White; a great-grandson, Tyler Senter; a sister, Minnie Lee Patterson; and three brothers, J.C. McClung, Tom McClung and Joe McClung.
