Belmont – Vera Mitchell, 89, formerly of Belmont, died March 9, 2009. She was born April 1, 1919, to Mr. and Mrs. Ira Harris of Belmont. Everybody who knew her was better off for their experience of loving her and receiving her love. She will be greatly missed by friends and family.
A memorial service was held at the First Baptist Church of Belmont.
Survivors included one son, Travis Mitchell, and two daughters, Deloris Spencer and DeRita Elfsfruno; and five grandchildren.
