Thomas Junior Hatch, 81, died Feb. 12, 2009, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was a retired salesman and a Baptist. He was a U.S. Army and Navy veteran of World War II. He enjoyed keeping up his 1967 Ford Galaxy 500.
Services were at the Little Creek Baptist Church with burial in the Highland Cemetery near Tishomingo. McMillan Funeral Home of Booneville was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included four daughters, Tami Perkerson of New Site, Josie Fugitt of Oklahoma, Susie Dempwolf of Arkansas and Alberta Anderson of North Carolina; one son, Mike Wilson of Dorsey; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas J. and Lula Barnes Hatch; his wife, Betty Rhodes Hatch; two sisters, Adell and Bea; one grandson, Gary Fugitt; and one great-grandson, Braxton Shane Durham.
