Lenore Floyd, 80, died June 7, 2009, at his residence in Ripley. He was born May 27, 1929, to Dink Wallace Floyd and Ethel Annie Windham Floyd. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. He was a retired factory worker.
Services ertr at Ripley Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors included three daughters, Brenda Kerr, Linda Jones and Glenda Cox, (Eugene), all of Ripley; one son, David Floyd (Penny) of Ripley; one sister, Marie Thornton (Bruce) of Cotton Plant; three brothers, Paul B. Floyd (Nancy) of Ecru, Burnice Lee Floyd (Charlene) of New Albany and Wallace Floyd (Billie Margaret) of Blue Mountain; 13 grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean W. Floyd; his parents; one brother, David Albert Floyd.
