Sammy Neal Flake, 54, died May 6, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. He was disabled.
A graveside services were at Blue Mountain Cemetery with McBride Funeral Home of Ripley is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included two sisters, Charlene Presley (Robert) of Ripley and Kay Dooley (Charles) of New Albany; two brothers, Rex Flake of Blue Mountain and Danny Flake of Ripley; two half sisters, Essie Mascroft (Harold) of Memphis and Barbara Cobb of New Albany; and nine nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Richard and Ellie Ree Mauney Flake; one brother, Dickie Flake; and a half sister, Sarah McCarver.
