Mrs. Martha Jefferson (Goode) Ballard (my grandmother) in Tate Co, MS.... 3)Samuel A. Cocke m. Lucy Burch in Memphis, TN.... 4)Leo Cocke d. unmarried in 1883.... Dorcus Eloise Cocke d. 1880, and buried in Tate Co....Samuel M. Cocke, m.2nd wife, Eugenia E.(Mothershed) Wicks, a widow, with four small children, whom he educated and raised to adulthood....Samuel M. Cocke d. 1896, buried in Tate Co.... My great grandparents, James Clarke Goode m. Cornelia Ann Hopper in 1852, in Oglethorpe Co, GA....
