Senatobia - Millie H. Newman, 81, passed away Monday, February 16, 2008. She was a homemaker and a member of Tyro Church of Christ and a former member of the King's Daughters. Mrs. Newman was the widow of Joseph M. Newman and is survived by her step-daughter, Martha Butler of Cordova, TN; five sons, Tommy Durham of Memphis, Patrick Durham of Knoxville, John Durham of Tampa Bay, FL, Roger Durham of Knoxville, Marshal Stevens Durham of Montana; step-son Joe Newman of Byhalia, MS; two brothers, Lee and Ed Hammett; twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Geraldine. Visitation will be 11-1 pm, Monday, February 23 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with services to follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Forest Hill East Funeral Home
