SENATOBIA - Robbie Wheeler Jenkins, 92, formerly of Sledge, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, at the Senatobia Convalescent Center. She was born Oct. 22, 1915, in Calhoun County. She was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church.
Services were at Hollywood Baptist Church in Sledge with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Sledge. Kimbro Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included two daughters, Helen Bailey of Senatobia and Katie Gann of Rienzi; one son, Robert "Bob" Jenkins of Starkville; two sisters, Rae Cox of Tunica and Maxine Tabor of Dyersburg, Tenn.; six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Zack Jenkins.
