Several of their children married and remained in the Smith Co area:

Mary died ca 1858 as Samuel is living in Smith Co in 1860 with a second wife and young child. Believe that Samuel md.3) Matilda A. Mangum, d/o Henry L. and Nancy Mangum.

Delila Turnbow, age 9 MS, is living in their household in Jasper Co MS in 1860. Delila may have md. Charles W. Tanner of Smith Co in 1880.

6. James Turnbow, age 17 AL, was living with his parents in Choctaw Co in 1850. Could he be the James Turnbough, age 27 MS, listed in Rusk Co TX in 1860?
7. Pernicia Ann J. H. Turnbow (b. 1835 Rankin Co MS) md Joseph Logsdon on 27 Nov 1853 in Fannin Co TX.
8. Benjamin Franklin Turnbow (b. ca 1840 MS) was living with his parents in Choctaw Co in 1850. It is said that he died in AR and was never married.
