Luther Thornton Ware & Sarah Hays

These were my gg grandparents and this is what I know. I have they were wed in Simpson County. All census up to 1900, Luther Ware bought land in 1898, they had children. Nothing else shows up for them after 1900 census. The older children (that I can find) went into the military, my great grandfather was Jackson Ware. I found one daughter who was living with her Uncle in 1910, William F Hays. Can anybody please tell me what happened to them and where they are buried? On find a grave it lists Luther as being buried at Old Good Hope and gives a date, I paid the money for the death certificate and there is not one. I have been to this cemetery twice, no grave. Someone has that all wrong. And if it is not wrong and he lived until the 1940's I can't find anything at all about it.
Thanks
Karen
