Simpson County Walkers

I am looking for any available information on my great grandfather Willie M. Walker, his brother Justin Walker, or his parents Dan or Emmaline Walker.

According to the information that I have so far, all of these people were born in Smith County. Willie was born in 1879. Justin was born in 1883.

Both brothers were living in Mize in 1910 with their families. Their mother Emmaline was living with Justin's family. I have found no record of them in the census prior to this. I did find that Willie was married in 1899 in Rankin County. Justin was married in 1905 in Simpson County. I have found no record of Dan at all.

In 1920, both brothers and families were living in Hopewell, in Copiah County, MS. However there was no mention of Emmaline at all.

I know that both brothers lived in the Old Pearl area of Simpson and Rankin Counties at one time. Both brothers are buried in Poplar Springs Cemetary in Rankin County MS.

Any information at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Greg Walker
