Louis Wayne Davis of Belmont, MS. 82, died at his home Friday March 14, 2008. He was born Sept. 08, 1925 in Rankin County, the son of George Sim and Ira Virginia Haynes Davis.
A Blue Bell Inc.(wrangler) and Schandig Furniture employee, in Belmont. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War 2.
He was preceded by his parents: two sisters: Dolly Harbour and Lucille Moore of Rankin,Co.
Surviors, his wife Eva Carr Davis of Belmont, his 2 children, 5 grandchildren, One great grandchild.
One sister Mildred Bolton, Pensacola, FL; and 2 brothers, Frank Davis(Kay), of Shelbyville, TN, and Gale Davis of Coffeeville, MS.
Services were Sunday March 16, 2008. His grandson, John Davis of Florence, AL officating. Burial in Lindsey Cemetery at Dennis, MS.
