Emily Wallis Green, 97, died July 13, 2009, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born Sept. 17, 1911, to C.L. (Fate) Wallis and Annie F. Grisham Wallis. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Hebron Methodist Church.
Services were at McMillan Funeral Home with burial in the Concord Cemetery.
Survivors included nieces and nephews, Carolyn Jackson (Roddy), Azell Saylors, Carol Killough (Don) of Booneville, Marjorie Lampkin of Baldwyn, Rachel Eaton (Bonnard) and Kaye Moffitt (James) of Biggersville, Lorene Floyd of Biloxi, Kella Abraham of Leland, Barney Wallis (Jean) of Sturgis, Alton Saylors of Booneville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Green; her parents; and seven sisters and three brothers.
