Sue Hunkapiller, 71, died July 2, 200, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was a member of the Booneville First Freewill Baptist Church and a retired assistant school teacher at Marietta Elementary School.
Services were at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Randel Hunkapiller: two daughters, Sandra Hunkapiller of Booneville and Teresa Green of Brandon; one son, Randy Hunkapiller of Booneville; two sisters, Neva Bennett and Lucy Arnold, both of Booneville; one brother, Roy Jones of Booneville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Harmie Jone and Martha Jones, and two brothers, Warren Jones and Tony Jones.
