Murry Guy Coley, 87, of Booneville died June 12, 2009 at the Landmark Nursing and Rehab. He was a Methodist. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was the company commander for the Booneville National Guard from 1950-1951and a federal meat inspector for U.S.D.A.
Services were at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Booneville Cemetery.
Survivors included his wife of 62 years, Orbie Lambert Coley; one daughter, Peggy (Larry) Barron of Booneville; two sons, Don (Sylvia) Coley of Brandon and Max Coley (Cathy) Booneville; one brother, James (Jeanette) Trice of West Memphis, Ark.; five grandchildren, Tim Barron, Tracy Hawkins, Amanda Hawkins, Jennifer Davis and Jason Coley; five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James “Mac” and Amanda Roberts Coley; two sisters, Opal Manley and Era Blanch Coley; two brothers, Harold and Allen Coley; and one grandson, Matt Barron.
