Elizabeth White Cartwright, 48, died June 8, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born Oct. 12, 1960, to Jacqueline Sutherland White and Harry V. White. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Booneville. She was a graduate of Briarcrest High School in Memphis and Blue Mountain College. She taught for 20 years at Pine Grove High School. She enjoyed art needlework and oil painting.
Services were at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services at Concord Baptist Church with burial in the Concord Cemetery.
Survivors included her spouse of 20 years, Wade Cartwright; one daughter, Olivia Cartwright; one son, Tyler Wade Cartwright; her mother, Jacqueline Sutherland White, all of Booneville; two brothers, Harry V. White Jr. (Mary Beth) of Kissimmee, Fla., and Seymour, Tenn., and Emory Ewing Smith of Memphis; two stepdaughters, Patricia Croft (Shannon) and Shelia Owens; and two half sisters, Nancy Russell and Janie Bray (Paul) of Memphis. She was preceded in death her father, Harry V. White Sr.
