Larry Don Rhoads, 63, died May 21, 2009, at the Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., after an extended illness. He was a life long member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
Services were at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the New Site Cemetery. McMillan Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included his wife, Dorothy M. Rhoads of New Site; his mother, Euna Rhoads of Booneville; one daughter, Tamri Lucretia Barnes (Jeff) of New Site; one stepdaughter-in-law, Kathy Gann of New Site; one stepson, Jerry Gann (Debbie) of Altitude; one sister, Marilyn Kelly (Bob) of Booneville; one brother, Fred Rhoads (Sue) of Quincey, Fla.; seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Milton Rhoads; one stepson, Larry Gann; one sister, Carolyn Rhoads; one brother, Bill Rhoads; and a special nephew, Matthew Kelly.
