E.G. Lindsey, 62, died May 11, 2009, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He was a retired auto body instructor at Northeast Mississippi Community College.
Services were at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Booneville Cemetery.
Survivors included his wife, Martha J. Pike Lindsey: three sons , Jeff (Meloney) Lindsey, Eric (Kristie) Lindsey and Scotty (Kim) Lindsey, all of Booneville; three sisters, Betty Shook, Margaret (Charles) Cheatham and Marianne (Roy) Holley; four brothers, H.B. (Annette) Lindsey, Jackie (Becky) Lindsey, Mac (Lafonda) Lindsey and Jobie (Lisa) Lindsey; his mother-in-law, Trana Pike; two sister-in-laws, Sue Lindsey and Elizabeth (L.Q.) Mathis; one brother-in-law, Jerry (Georgie) Pike; four grandchildren, Ethan Lindsey, Madelyn Lindsey, Madison Lindsey and Cole Lindsey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbel B. Lindsey Sr. and Annielou Lindsey; one brother, Hobert Lindsey; his father-in-law, J. Carey Pike; and one sister-in-law, Linda Martin.
