Roy Buford “R.B.” Lambert Jr., 62, died May 6, 2009, at the Cornerstone Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corinth. He was born Aug. 16, 1946, in Booneville to Roy Buford Lambert Sr. and Dorothy Inez Dodds Lambert. He was a restaurant manager and a Methodist. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and reading. He was an avid NASCAR fan. He was a very active member of the Thrasher Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad.
Services were at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Smith Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors included a brother, Larry Lambert (Lisa) of Booneville; a sister, Carol Cook (Reagan) of Lake Charles, La.; a nephew, Jason Lambert of Booneville; and a niece, Amanda Taylor (Brandon) of Booneville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
