Brenda Gail Kendrick, 58, died April 27, 2009, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born Jan. 21, 1951, to Jewel McCreary Taylor and the late Earl Taylor. She was a member of Hopewell Primitive Baptist Church and a graduate of New Site High School. Before becoming disabled, she was a talented floral designer. She had a great love for children and her pet boxers, and she enjoyed baking, shopping and being outdoors. Throughout her life, she kept a positive attitude and always thought of others before herself, especially her sons.
Services were at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Survivors included her husband, Randel Gene Kendrick; two sons, Derek and Clint Kendrick of Booneville; her mother, Jewel Taylor; one sister, Ann Taylor of Booneville; three brothers, Benny, Rickey and Jimmy Taylor of Booneville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Taylor.
