Larry,
Thanks for the reply. I'm trying to determine if this James Gibson is my ancestor,( GGGgrandfather). About the only info I have is that his wife was Dicy Still and they had 2 sons, Zedekiah and Uriah, both of which married in 1823 in St. Landry parish, La. Zedekiah married Sarah Hight, moved to Rapides parish, La. and is buried there in Old Occupy cemetery.

I'm assuming James and Dicy moved to Southwest Mississippi or Louisiana but not sure. Does this fit with any of your Gibsons? Would appreciate any info you might have on the Gibson families.

Clarence
