Sardis-- George Lawrence Swain, 41, died May 19, 2009 at Tri Lakes Medical Center in Batesville.
Graveside services were at Singleton Cemetery in Strayhorn. Wells Funeral Home had charge.
Swain, born April 23, 1968 in Hernando, to the late Edgar E. and Marguerite Calvert Swain of Sardis, was a nursing assistant
Survivors included his mother, Marguerite Calvert Swain of Sardis; six sisters, Linda Gale Rich of Sardis, Melanie Westmoreland of Strayhorn, Gracie McDaniel of Senatobia, Debra Smith of Senatobia, Kelly Medlin of Hernando, Geri Ann George of Oxford; two brothers, Michael Swain and Chris Swain, both of Sardis.
