Do you have any other information on this
Shackleford Cordin/Cardin/Carden? Could he have been the one found on the 1850 Shelby County Alabama census? I have done a lot of research on all Cardin and Carden families and the name Shackleford has not turned up in this research except for the Shelby County census. My husband's Cardin family was found in Choctaw County MS for many years. One other questions. Have you found
Shackleford Cordin on the 1860 census at all?
Did he and his wife die before 1860 leaving
her children to be raised by the Yeagers?
Bobbie Cardin in Louisiana
