My name is Lorrie Anderson. I am the Great Great Great Granddaughter of Wellington Wood, Sr. He had many children including Wellington Wood, Jr. Wellington Wood, Jr. also had many children with common law wife Malisa Douglass. One of their sons name was Billie Wood. Billie Wood married Maloche Cully (Seminole Indian) and they had several children, one of them my Grandmother Callie Wood. Wellington Wood, Jr. moved his widowed mother Mary and his common law wife Malisa Douglass (mulatto)and their children to Oklahoma Indian Territory and thereafter gave birth to two more children in Oklahoma. I have been researching the Wood Family for several years and had found a piece of information a few years ago that indicated that Wellington Wood, Sr.'s father's name was John Wood, but I have not been able to find anything more than that.
